Amhara Region Improved Cooking Stove (ICS)

Ethiopian National Association of Persons Affected by Leprosy (ENAPAL) has been agreed with TLMI-E to implement the project, Amhara Region Improved Cooking Stove (ICS) that focus on promoting sustainable socio-economic development and environmental protection. It is the three year project that lasts from 1st February, 2016 to January 31,2009 with a total cost of  4,941,250(four million nine hundred forty one thousand and two hundred fifty birr only).

The principal objective of the project is to promote sustainable income for persons affected by leprosy and their families through Improved Cooking Stove production and marketing. It also aimed to reduce further disability caused by firewood collection and open fire exposure in addition of contributing for green development through reducing the on-going deforestation   in the areas.
