Mission
ENAPAL commits itself to:
- Protecting the full right of persons affected by leprosy, who have been isolated, discriminated and denigrated against for generations, by exerting every effort to achieve their full integration in the society through organizing for solidarity, awareness raising and advocacy.
- The socio-economic empowerment of persons affected by leprosy leading to dignified lives and becoming productive citizens, by promoting concerted effort of all concerned bodies.
- Advocating the availability of the right attention and timely treatment and physical rehabilitation service for persons affected by leprosy, to be protected from disability that has been the cause of their deep-rooted stigma, isolation, discrimination and denigration for generations
Vision
ENAPAL aspires to see a stigma free society, where isolation and discrimination are eliminated, and persons affected by leprosy and their family members are independent, fully integrated into society, live in dignity, free from rampant poverty and participating in the economic, social and political life of Ethiopia.
Goal
Creation of strong ENAPAL, from grass root to national levels, that stands for the rights of persons affected by leprosy for full participation and equal opportunity in their respective communities in Ethiopia.
